Promotion.

This is a good way to promote The dark knight because thousands of people log onto myspace a day, so when people log onto their account and they see this advertisement, they think it must be a good film to go and see if its being promoted on myspace.

What do i need to do?

I need to show that I understand what an advertising campaign is; I'm am going to use the campaign for time warners film batman the dark knight for my research. I need to look at the different products and show undertstanding of the following points
  1. How a product is successful.
  2. Who the traget audience is.
  3. How it links with the other products in the campaign.
I can then apply my understanding to our campaign to plug studios.

Photographs for the Exhibtion

For my Photography, I took pictures of my friend Rya, I dressed her up like she was tinkerbell, we went to mousehold heath and I sat her on a tree stumps and made her stand around tree's in the woods.
I also had another story with was Pocahontas, I also used Rya for this but I also included my friend Leah, i dressed them up like they were Cherokee indians, I used lipstick on their faces for the same effect of paint that they put on their face.

Photography Exhibition

I have taken some pictures for the Photography exhibition. I have researched table top books and calender prices so I will have an idea how much to chrage for our table top book and our acedemic calender.

Health, Safety and Economy

Us as a group who did the print screening have learnt:
  • Not to run our fingers over the blades.
  • Dont mix paints, as they are nearly £10 a pot.
  • When cleaning the boards, hold them upright.
  • Dont need to use loads of ink
We need to:
  • Work on our teamwork; holding the board down for each other when we are in the process of print screening so the paper and the print doesnt move.
  • Plan so we have the right amouont of spoons and spatulars so we know we wont mix the paint.
Today we've been practising t-shit print screening, these are some pictures of  Rory, Joe, Jack, Megan Shaneen, and me.
